Met some friends at the Center that live here. We had a great time playing volleyball with a few others. Very nice place, with a great atmosphere.
Nice place definitely geared toward the older crowd they close at 6 p.m. and they are not exclusive to Wyndham owners staff was friendly ping pong was free but had to pay for air hockey and pool table.
Do they have an indoor sauna which was nice and a pool attendant
We go here often and it's always been nice. They will try to sale you one of their time shares but I'm always upfront and honest with them and tell them I have no intention of buying anything but they offer you like a hundred dollar gift card to come eat breakfast and just listen to the presentation. It takes 90 minutes and you're done. But here's a little hint. They can give you more than 100 on a gift card I usually push for 200 and have always gotten it. They don't want you to know that though. I'm sure some people get more than that. But it is legit and my money is always put on a card within minutes of leaving the presentation. They also offer you free trips to any of their other resorts. This is legit too but the red tape is ridiculous to actually use it. You have to give them like a ninety day notice of when you are going to use it and it has to be sent in and approved and you have to pay so much up front and then you will get it back it's just a lot of unnecessary steps and to much of a hassle for me so I don't even get those anymore I just get my money and go on. The lady we had this last time was wonderful she didn't try to push anything on us after we let her know we wouldn't be buying anything. She made sure our girls were taken care of for us while we watched the video and was just an absolute joy to talk to . For the first time my husband was saying let's go and we just kept talking for another hour. I'm usually watching the clock down to the second to leave those places but she was awesome. Her name was Mercedes and if I ever did decide to purchase into what they have to offer I would buy from her in a heartbeat. I will say the presentation and all the info they give you is really interesting and a lot of great points are made. If we had that kind of extra money I do think it would be something I would definitely look further into. Maybe one day but that's just a little helpful info for you if you decide to give it a try. The rooms are always nice and very clean. Very big and totally worth the price of the stay.
Hello. I am 45 years old and have been coming here for the first week of august every year since, with my family and friends, possibly missing only 2 or 3 times. Fairfield glade is wonderful and exactly what a family get away should be. We sometimes have extended family with us, sometimes not. Sometimes friends with us , sometimes not. It’s nearly unmatchable for a week away of “vacation” these days. It’s not necessarily a week of 600 things planned, and costly restaurant nightly, and sharply salespeople, etc. It’s just a laid back, enjoy your own time to relax yet with enough events to keep you engaged and varsities, if you’d like. People are kind, it’s easy to find a locals bar and a lake with fishing, or you can hit a huge late night grocery store and hear great live music. The same families, now TRUE friends, from all over come the same week and us and stay in the adjacent condos. It’ll hopefully never leave our family and there’s nobody that doesn’t wait for this week from almost 4generations of us. Literally the ONLY criticism I can state is the last 2 or so years the indoor pool is way too cold. I hate to complain, and I understand we don’t want to swim in others bathwater(hahaha) but babies and youngsters of our Brooks clan spend significant time throughout the day and anymore not even them, but even my teenagers and me and the whole family can’t swim like all those years. Often we’d do a great early morning swim and often a fun later night with the kids after the day. A great family affair. But PLEAsE return that heater to just high enough that makes the pool like it always was…..manageable, and I’ll have all of Cleveland coming to Crossville. Thanks for the decades of memories and fun. X5330 Fairfield glad member.
Beautiful interior but I was disappointed about the "arcade" advertised. It's variety was not as expected the selection of board games was better. Having a person with sight issues was rough in this particular area of the building as well. It was dark and they had to be guided. The bathrooms and pool area were clean and well kept. They also had a great selection of activites on the calander/schedule. There is also an available massage therapist with a start of $40 for 30 minutes which is a ok deal in my opinion and free access to a sauna.
Nice place to come and get a swim on. Lap area for the swimmers, play area and the spa. There is a racquet ball court, arcade and so much more.
I think it's volunteer based for help and sometimes there is confusion here and there. Well, I should say more than just here or there. It can change from the moment you walk in til the next time you happen to pass by the desk. Some are friendly and just make honest mistakes, while others are flat out rude in their complete ignorance. Then they find out that they were wrong, but still give you snobby attitude.
Yes it's true, you will be treated differently if you're younger than like 45, but also if you lease a place here vs owning one. Not everyone treats you that way, but some staff will for sure. Kinda sad, but that's the FFG life. But always nice and cheap to come to have a good indoor time.
So overall it's nice, sometimes their ignorance and rudeness wants me to give them a 2 or 3 stars, but the facilities a 5. So I had to meet in the middle.
Beautiful facility for swimming and other activities
Nice big indoor pool. Hot tub was great and pool staff was all really friendly.
